ABOUT ME...
I grew up in Evergreen, Colorado, the daughter of two teachers! Hopefully I won’t have any typos, gasp, on my website! My first LOVE OF MY LIFE was horses. I spent every waking minute that I wasn’t in school, at the riding stable. It was the first time that I felt an undying passion for another being (horses) and a sport (hunters and jumpers.) I did anything to be able to fund my dream, it is as they say “a rich man’s sport!” But my passion and hard work paid off as I was named Reserve Champion in Colorado when I was 16 years old. As I left for college I sold my last horse and my sister Amy continued on in my shoes (or riding boots!). I still have horsey dreams.
My path in personal development began in 1989. I was a Communication major and graduate at the University of Colorado. When I was 23 years old I underwent an intensive two year training in group facilitation and personal development through the Dreikurs Relationship Center in Boulder, CO. I was a Center owner and National Facilitator through this organization, teaching a course entitled "Understanding Yourself and Others." I led courses all over the U.S. and in Israel mainly with my first husband, Bobbi. After our divorce many people said that we had a better divorce than most people's marriage!
After three years in the Natural Foods industry with Horizon Organic Dairy, I took on a sales job with Paul Mitchell hair products as a newly divorced mom to a two year old son. This gave me invaluable experience in developing relationships as opposed to “selling" because I never saw myself as a salesperson.
I was introduced to Network Marketing in 1999. Fast forward fifteen plus years and my husband Tom and I have created an amazing team of leaders in our company. We hit the the top rank in our company first and were the only ones at that rank for almost two years. Our passion is teaching others to do what we do. I feel strongly that Network Marketing is THE only industry where women can create a life they love with very little start-up cost, no overhead, no degree, and no boss! Having the ability to have financial freedom, health freedom and time freedom is the result of serving others. What a wonderful bi-product! I studied Life Coaching with Martha Beck Life Coach Training and I love empowering, inspiring and coaching women.
We have three adult children, Adrian, Courtney and Dominic, one daughter-in-law, Cally, and three grandchildren, Corinne, Linden and Hugo. We are passionate about our health and love walking, running, cycling, yoga, pilates and meditation. I have a huge and humble love for AA and Al-Anon and all Twelve Step programs. We give compassionately in the form of boots on the ground and monetarily to many local charities and foundations. In addition, Tom and I love exploring! We have a little Cessna airplane that we fly all over the United States which is so fun to be able to just pick up and go whenever we want!
